Indoor Air Quality Monitoring System

Thinnect’s air quality and carbon dioxide (CO₂) measurement solution is the ideal way to monitor air quality in any room where the health of guests or employees is important.
Our air quality solution consists of easy-to-install wireless CO₂ sensors and a cloud desktop that displays data from sensors installed in different rooms of the building. This gives you a quick and concise picture of the current situation and trends in the monitored rooms.

The solution is used, for example, in classrooms and kindergartens, offices, accommodation, service and catering establishments, sports clubs, medical facilities and production facilities.

Why Monitor Indoor Air Quality?

People spend 80-90% of their time indoors – at work, in a shop, at home, in a hotel, in a restaurant, in a sports club. Children are 35-50 hours a week at school or kindergarten. Clean indoor air helps to limit the spread of airborne viral diseases (including COVID-19) and to create good working and learning conditions. Studies show that viruses spread very effectively indoors as an aerosol that stays in the air even after the infected person has left the room: this is why it is important to assess the change in air quality also in empty rooms and the time it takes for a room to reach good air quality.
Good air quality makes people feel better and reduces the risk of various health problems – headaches, fatigue, cough, allergies, asthma, not to mention the spread of viral diseases.

“Thinnect’s solution gives Pelgulinna school an accurate overview of air quality in our classrooms, which allows us to plan activities to improve air quality together with the management company.”
Jarek Kurnitski

“Looking beyond the individual, the days of illness caused by colds and flu, and today also by COVID-19, are causing great harm to businesses and the public sector. Proper and operational ventilation systems, controlled by up-to-date data from the Thinnect solution, are essential to contain the spread of viruses. ”
 Aavo Kokk
Aavo KokkUS Real Estate board member
“With the help of Thinnect, we have studied the real indoor climate in school buildings during classes. Based on the collected data, we have decided to replace the ventilation system filters more frequenlty and have provided recommendations to the school staff when the rooms need to be ventilated and how long class hours can be so that the indoor climate in the classrooms will continue to be good. ”

Wireless, Easy, Real time

Installing sensors takes minutes, not days

Sensor -> Gateway -> Cloud -> Web

Implementing the solution is quick and easy. Depending on the size of the building and the number of rooms to be monitored, it only takes a few hours – already a few hours after installation, there is an overview of the air quality of the rooms for both guests and employees.
Because the sensors use a wireless network connection and run on battery power, installing one sensor takes less than five minutes. Once the sensors are installed, they are associated with the rooms on the cloud desktop. If there is a need to monitor additional rooms, all you have to do is install additional sensors – the system can be easily and flexibly expanded.

Thinnect’s air quality solution monitors the CO₂ level, temperature and humidity of the room in real time, which are the most important parameters of the indoor climate. We do this with battery-powered wireless sensors that can be installed in any room. The sensors send the data to a cloud solution, where the indoor climate of the monitored rooms is visualized on a simple and concise dashboard that can be used from both a computer and a smart device. We use the patented Thinnect Mist technology, which ensures the smooth and secure flow of data even in the most complex buildings.

Every occupant is informed

How is our solution different from our competitors?

  • We use the best sensor available on the market from the Swiss company Sensirion *
  • 10x shorter measuring interval than other similar solutions – more detailed information about the indoor climate
  • Our patented self-configuring network technology reduces deployment costs by up to 75%
  • All inclusive – we take care of everything from the sensors to the cloud desktop
  • The best quality and priceon the market
  • Continuously evolving technology – in 2022 Thinnect offers a solution that assesses the risk of virus infection in a room using scientific models developed at TalTech
